20: Channel NewsAsia interviewing me for a show

A current affairs production crew from Channel NewsAsia came to my house on 15 May 2015 to shoot an interview with me as a former STU Income Organiser, me as one of the earliest policy-holders of an NTUC Income insurance policy and me as thrice President of NTUC Income Summit Club.

This being a "draft" production, I'm not sure if it will be aired as sometimes things happen and drafts get prioritised out! But I hope it will be televised for old times sake since this is the SG50 year.

19: NTUC Income Shares

I bought my first NTUC Income policy in 1971, and this makes me as one of the oldest policy-holders of NTUC Income.

Since its early days, one of the perks of being an Income policy-holder is to be able to buy Income shares, and so I subscribed for the maximum number of shares available to me as a policy-holder. I have never regreted having done this because it has been paying me 6% per annum all these years, and even 8% one particular year!

I do not know whether this practice of share allocation is still on, but it is certainly a very good investment.

18: Starlight : 44th NTUC INCOME Summit Club Gala Dinner - 13 Mar 2015

This year's gala dinner was organized to honour and reward the top performers of NTUC Income.

As a former President of Income Summit Club, I was honoured to be one of the VVIPs at this function which was held in the Flower Dome of Gardens by the Bay.

17: NTUC INCOME 40th Income Day - 2010.

I was a guest at this important function of NTUC Income together with my wife, however many of my personal fotos were lost when my previous laptop crashed. A few of the fotos remain as nostalgic mementos. A selection came from Dick Lee's website (he was the guest performer at the function).

And, yes, Sr Minister Mr Goh Chok Tong, was Guest-of-Honour.

14: After 4 decades, NTUC INCOME still remembers me as a former President of its INCOME Summit Club.

Indeed, it's a nice feeling to be remembered.

Yes, in the 1970s, I was NTUC INCOME Summit Club President for 3 successive years and was honoured to be awarded a Trip to London.
