Since its early days, one of the perks of being an Income policy-holder is to be able to buy Income shares, and so I subscribed for the maximum number of shares available to me as a policy-holder. I have never regreted having done this because it has been paying me 6% per annum all these years, and even 8% one particular year!
I do not know whether this practice of share allocation is still on, but it is certainly a very good investment.
